Dear Temple family and friends, Sh'loshim is the Hebrew word for 30, and in Jewish tradition it refers to the 30 days after the death of a loved one. After Shiva (the first seven days after the death), Sh'loshim is the next stage of mourning our tradition recognizes. This Wednesday, November 28, marks Sh'loshim for the 11 people who died in the Tree of Life Synagogue massacre in Pittsburgh. To mark this day, we will participate in an interfaith gathering to remember those who died and to reaffirm our solidarity as a Brooklyn community. Here are the details: 30 DAYS LATER: BROOKLYN STANDS TOGETHER Wednesday, November 28, 2018 | 21 Kislev 5779 | 7:30 to 9 P.M.
