Sisterhood Brunch/Lecture - April 28th

posted Apr 12, 2018, 5:00 AM by Alice Hyatt

Guest Speaker – Jonathan Schwartz

Topic:  Make Plans and G-D will laugh

The Sisterhood of Temple Beth Emeth proudly presents Jonathan Schwartz, longtime friend and partner in crime to TBE congregant Candi Friedman.  Jonathan Schwartz wasn’t envisioning himself as an endurance athlete when he was playing high school soccer and complaining about running a mile. He was simply doing it because he had to. Golf was his passion, the thing that he excelled at and lived for.

On December 11, 2012 that all changed. That was the date that Jonathan underwent brain surgery. His life would never be the same. The one thing he loved almost as much as Life itself was no longer fun, he needed to find a new passion.
This is the Jonathan story.  A story of overcoming life’s curveballs while God continues to laugh.
